Benton Resources (TSXV: BEX) continues to hit high grade copper at its Great Burnt Copper project in Newfoundland.
The company this morning released results from three additional drill holes conducted at the property, where it has targeted a historical resource. Highlights from the results include:
- GB-23-15: 5.03% copper over 22.59 metres from 129.03 metres depth, including 8.79% copper over 6.03 metres
- GB-23-16: 5.80% copper over 13.67 metres from 141.36 metres depth, including 13.58% copper over 5.35 metres
- GB-23-17: 0.91% copper over 4.93 metres from 174.31 metres depth, including 4.06% copper over 1.02 metres

Holes GB-23-15 and GB-23-16 are said to have been infill holes within the lower central portion of the known resource, and were drilled to test between two historical holes. Hole GB-23-17 meanwhile was drilled 50 metres to the north of GB-23-15.

Assay results remain outstanding for five holes.
