Bluestone Intersects 140.2 Metres Of 1.1 g/t Gold

Bluestone Resources Inc. (TSXV: BSR) today released assay results from their 2021 infill drill campaign that focused on the Salinas silica cap at Cerro Blanco. The Salinas silica cap is a 100 to 150 meters thick layer of near-surface, low-grade disseminated mineralization that rests on top of the high-grade quartz-adularia vein swarms.

Bluestone has reported on a total of 52 holes that make up the drilling of an aggregate 6,724 meters, which was conducted in support of a planned feasibility study for the project. The release is inclusive of assay results from the recent sampling of four holes that were drilled late in 2020.

Among the results were the following intercepts:

  • Hole CB21-469 intercepted at 140.2 meters grading 1.1 g/t gold and 8.2 g/t silver.
  • Hole CB21-460 intercepted at 57.6 meters grading 3.1 g/t gold and 9.9 g/t silver.
  • Hole CB21-479 intercepted at 150.1 meters grading 0.8 g/t gold and 5.4 g/t silver.
  • Hole CB21-487 intercepted at 7.6 meters grading 30.2 g/t gold and 85.5 g/t silver.

The drill program’s primary objective was to define extensions to the mineralization by increasing the density of drill holes within the Salinas unit. Bluestone further hopes drilling will potentially upgrade the current mineral resource to a higher classification.

Bluestone Resources Inc. last traded on the TSX Venture at $1.70.
