Brunswick Exploration Hits 1.55% Li2O Over 93 Metres

Brunswick Exploration (TSXV: BRW) reported its best intercept to date at its Mirage project following the receipt of assays from a winter drill campaign. The intercept occurred at MR-6 dyke, which is found in the Central Zone.

Brunswick released results from a total of eleven drill holes this morning. Highlights from the results include:

  • MR-24-43: 1.27% Li2O over 18.60 metres from a depth of 9.85 metres
  • MR-24-55: 1.42% Li2O over 11.5 metres from a depth of 67.60 metres
  • MR-24-62: 1.55% Li2O over 93.45 metres from a depth of 6.35 metres
  • MR-24-65: 1.05% Li2O over 34.05 metres from a depth of 44.4 metres

The latest results are said to have extended the MR-6 dyke by 80 metres to the southwest with hole MR-24-62, while hole MR-24-65 extended the dyke by 135 metres to the north. The dyke overall has been traced for over 220 metres of strike, with the thickness varying from 25 to 70 metres. The dyke is said to remain open in multiple directions.

A new dyke, referred to as MR-8, meanwhile has been confirmed with holes MR-24-43 and MR-24-55.

“With this latest set of results, MR-6 is rapidly becoming a top priority for Brunswick Exploration and will be the core focus of our next drill campaign. This is another very significant intercept which begins at surface and adds to the prior results which included 58 meters at 1.59% Li2O and 37 meters at 1.80% Li2O all starting from surface as well,” commented CEO Killian Charles.

Brunswick Exploration last traded at $0.46 on the TSX Venture.
