C3 Metals Intercepts 294 Metres of 0.30% Copper At Bellas Gate

C3 Metals (TSXV: CCCM) continues to hit long intervals of copper mineralization at its Bellas Gate project in Jamaica. The latest results come from four separate drill holes at different zones across the property.

Highlights from the results include:

  • CMH8390-001: 294 metres of 0.30% copper and 0.13 g/t gold (0.39% copper equivalent) from a depth of 9.0 metres
  • GOH9075-001: 115 metres of 0.28% copper and 0.07 g/t gold (0.33% copper equivalent) from a depth of 162.0 metres
  • GOH9075-002: 47 metres of 0.25% copper and 0.05 g/t gold (0.29% copper equivalent) from a depth of 57.0 metres

The highlight hole, CMH8390-001, was a follow up to a drill hole that previously intersected 0.43% copper and 0.20 g/t gold over 207.8 metres at the Camel Hill porphyry prospect. The other two holes which intersected mineralization were conducted at Geo Hill, which is found 1.2 kilometres north-northwest of Camel Hill. The two targets are said to appear to be spatially and genetically associated, representing a large porphyry complex that to date has only been partially drill tested.

“These drill results from both Camel Hill and Geo Hill, combined with coincident geochemical and geophysical anomalies over approximately 2km, suggest a large hydrothermal system. In fact, when stepping back and looking at our Bellas Gate and Arthurs Seat projects, there is 18km of strong copper-gold soil and rock geochemistry with confirmed multiple porphyries clustered along two distinct northwest-southeast trending belts,” commented CEO Dan Symons.

A fourth hole conducted, drilled 500 metres to the west of Camel Hill, failed to hit significant mineralization. 3D geologic models are now being updated in advance of further drill testing at Bellas Gate, which will test near surface and deeper levels of the porphyry system.

C3 Metals last traded at $0.38 on the TSX Venture.
