Canada Jetlines Sees CEO Resign, Board Chair To Assume Role On Temporary Basis

Canada Jetlines (CBOE: CJET) has seen its chief executive officer hand in his resignation notice.

Eddy Doyle, CEO of Jetlines since January 2021, has elected to retire after three and a half years on the job. Doyle will remain in the role until June 30, 2024, after which current chair of the board, Brigitte Goersch, will assume the role on.

Goersch is intended as a temporary holdover while a CEO recruitment search is undertaken by the company.

“I have been active with management in my position as Chair and I will assume the role as Chief Executive Officer to assure a smooth transition and continue to grow revenue as we recruit Eddy’s successor. It has been a great pleasure to work with Eddy over the last few years and I thank him for his dedication and contribution to Canada Jetlines,” commented Goersch.

Goersch is a former Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force, following which she was the deputy executive director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and is currently the president of Lionheart Enterprises.

Canada Jetlines last traded at $0.64 on the CBOE.
