(TSXV: DOC) announced today the partnership with 19 post-secondary institutions across Canada to provide mental health support resources through its Aspiria Student Assistance Program. The move adds over 167,000 new students to the firm’s framework of mental health program.

The healthcare firm is onboarding colleges and universities with ranging class sizes between 200 and 48,000 students. Through its mental health provider, Aspiria Student Assistance Program, the company aims to provide additional resources to support the increased demand for mental health programs for younger individuals.
The recent partnership brings the company’s network to 141 K-12 and post-secondary institutions. The program collaborates with on-campus health centers to provide additional mental health resources including initial clinical assessment and triage process. The service is also accessible 24/7 for students via in-person, by phone, web, and mobile chat/text.
