Datametrex AI Appoints Former Secretary of State Hon. James S. Peterson, P.C. To Board of Directors

Datametrex AI Limited (TSXV: DM) this morning announced that they have appointed the Honourable James S. Peterson, P.C., as an independent member of the firms Board of Directors. Peterson previously served as the Secretary of State of Canada, as well as the Minister of International Trade within Paul Martin’s cabinet.

Peterson’s extensive government experience brings a wealth of knowledge to Datametrex’s board, where he will be advising the company on strategic planning and government affairs. This experience will also be used to assist the company in engaging with world governments on the topic of further testing of COVID-19 as a means to assist in eradicating the virus.

Further, Peterson has extensive experience that is largely unmatched. Educational experience consists of obtaining education at Western, Columbia, and McGill, while his work experience includes teaching Law at the University of Toronto and working for the UN International development organization in Kuala Lumpur, Khartoum, and Vienna. Peterson is Co-Chair of the Canada-US Law Institute, while also being a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Bar Association. This of course, is outside of his governmental experience which includes roles as a Cabinet Minister, Chair of the House of Commons, and Secretary of State.

David Ellison has stepped down from the firms Board of Directors to make room for Peterson, however he will be taking a role on the firms advisory board.
