Golden Arrow Announces 2,000 Metre Drill Program Following Positive Survey Results

Golden Arrow Resources Corporation (TSXV: GRG) today announced that the TEM surface geophysical survey conducted by the company discovered significant, near-surface conductive anomaly targets at the Rosales Copper Project. The company has commenced the planning of its first drill campaign at the project as a result.

Golden Arrow has given the highest priority to a conductive area of 850 by 500 metres that may include several conductive zones. Among the anomalies found in the area, the shallowest is stated to be roughly 100 metres below surface, with the extent of depth to be determined. Another large conductive anomaly is located roughly 500 metres to the southeast, measuring 600 by 400 metres, with a third conductive target identified 2650 metres northwest. All three targets are considered to be highly prospective for copper.

The company has indicated that it intends to conduct a 2,000 metre drill program following a 440 line-kilometre ground magnetic survey that is currently underway. The additional survey is expected to allow for targets for drilling to be refined.

The Rosales Project includes 3444 hectares of exclusively held mineral claims, and based on the results to date, Golden Arrow has applied for 900 hectares of additional concessions next to the southern border of the project. The project is situated less than 90 kilometres from the Copiapo mining centre in the Atacama Region, which features pre-established exploration and mining infrastructure.

Golden Arrow Resources Corporation last traded on the TSX Venture at $0.17.
