Golden Cariboo Resources (CSE: GCC) is enhancing its emphasis on establishing a geological and structural model for mineralization found on the Quesnelle Gold Quartz property. The company has undertaken changes to its drilling efforts to better establish a working model for the property.
Going forward, the company has implemented an oriented core system under the ongoing drill program. The change will preserve the original position of the rock recovered under the drilling process, which is said to enable the collection of structural measurements of veins, rock formations and geologic structures.
At the same time, the firms technical team has been expanded to include an explorer with experience searching for both battery and precious metals. Sebastian Triebert, a graduate of the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology, will join the exploration team in an effort to drive further success under the current program.
Golden Cariboo also stated this morning that it has completed an additional 1,268 metres of drilling, which was conducted across a total of four holes. Assay results remain outstanding, with partial results also outstanding for hole QGQ24-08, which is known to have intercepted 0.29 g/t gold over 263.1 metres.
Additional assay results from the ongoing exploration program at the Quesnelle Gold property include 2.77 g/t gold over 6.25 metres in hole QGQ23-04, and 0.87 g/t gold over 32.0 metres in hole QGQ22-01.
Golden Cariboo last traded at $0.22 on the CSE.
