Golden Cariboo Resources (CSE: GCC) has provided updated assay results for a previously released drill hole following infill sampling that was conducted in late 2023. The results come from the North Hixon zone at the firms Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in British Columbia.
The expanded results come from hole QGQ22-01, where recently completed data compilation has reportedly expanded zones of mineralization from what was originally reported for the hole in April 2023. Highlights from the results include:
- QGQ22-01: 0.87 g/t gold over 32.0 metres,
- including 4.04 g/t gold over 4.15 metres,
- including 29.2 g/t gold over 0.5 metres,
- and including 0.80 g/t gold over 7.8 metres.

The hole is said to remain open at depth, with additional drilling at the North Hixon zone slated to target the western and vertical extensions of multiple gold intercepts.
Drilling remains ongoing at the property at both the Main and North Hixon zones, with seven holes completed to date, of which three have assays pending. Hole QGQ24-08, which is currently in progress, is a 50 metre step out from hole QGQ22-01. 1,564 metres of drilling has been completed to date under the currently ongoing program.
