Another earthquake has rocked Turkey, with a 6.3 magnitude earthquake hitting the country in the province of Hatay, near its southern border with Syria.
The earthquake, which struck near to the coast, was said to have been felt in Turkey, Syria, Cyprus and as far south as Israel, Jordan, and Egypt. The large quake comes nearly two weeks after major earthquakes rocked the same region of Turkey, causing over 46,000 to lose their lives and the destruction of over 84,000 buildings in the region across both Turkey and Syria.

The most recent earthquake is said to have hit at 8:04 PM local time, with three aftershocks at magnitude 5.8, 3.9, and 4.5 hitting minutes later. Coastlines in the area are expecting water to surge up to half a metre, or 50 cm, as a result of the location of the earthquakes epicentre.
