Patriot Battery Metals (TSXV: PMET) has seen its exploration crews begin the process of remobilization to the Corvette property in the James Bay Region of Quebec. The process follows the lifting of a ban put in place by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry of Quebec.
Camp construction activities and field exploration operations are said to now be in the process of resuming now that the exploration ban has been lifted. All activities are currently expected to be under normal operation by the end of the month.
The ban was originally put into place several weeks ago as a result of several out of control fires in the region. Patriot however has indicated that the closest fire was over 80 kilometres away from where exploration is currently ongoing, with the firms property unimpacted.

Exploration activities during the 2023 spring and summer season are slated to include both a drill and surface exploration program, which began back in May. Drilling is currently targeting the CV5 and CV13 pegmatites as well as other known spodumene pegmatite clusters. Surface exploration meanwhile is to consist of mapping known clusters, along with prospecting and rock sampling across the entire lithium trend, which is presently known to be over 20 kilometres in length.
Furthermore, the company has indicated that it remains on track for the July release of an initial mineral resource for the CV5 pegmatite, which will include drill data up to April 17, 2023.
Patriot Battery Metals last traded at $17.30 on the TSX Venture.
