Snowline Gold (TSXV: SGD) has released the first results from its ongoing 2024 exploration campaign at its flagship Valley deposit. A total of two drill holes saw assays released, with results from 19 completed holes currently pending.
Highlights from the results include:
- V-24-071: 1.77 g/t gold over 449.7 metres, from a depth of 6.8 metres
- V-24-072: 2.66 g/t gold over 295.3 metres from a depth of 3.7 metres
Roughly 11,000 metres of drilling is said to have been completed under the current program across a total of 21 holes, with three addition holes currently in process. Visible gold and sheeted quartz vein arrays are reported to have been encountered outside of the current initial mineral resource estimate.
Elsewhere, the company has completed four holes at the Jupiter Target at its Einarson project. While assays remain pending, the holes are said to have been successful in extending the known width of the system by at least 200 metres. 1.2 kilometres of strike at the project has been partially drill tested to date. Assays for three drill holes conducted at the Cujo Target at the Rogue project also remain outstanding, along with a 72 metre outcrop surface channel sample collected at the Cynthia Project.

Snowline also notably indicated that exploration on site remains ongoing, while the company “remains respectful and responsive to [First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun’s] concerns relating to mining activities and mineral exploration.” The comment follows the collapse of the heap leach facility at Victoria Gold’s Eagle Mine, after which the First Nation demanded the halting of mining and mineral exploration on its territory.
Snowline Gold last traded at $5.08 on the TSX Venture.
