Exploits Discovery (CSE: NFLD) this morning announced that it has completed the first of its drilling for the 2021 exploration season. The company has completed the drill program slated for the Schooner Prospect, with the drill now moving to the Quinlan Veins Prospect.

A total of seven drill holes were completed at Schooner over a total of 2,400 metres in aggregate. Reportedly, the program successfully intersected both the primary and secondary structures that were targeted by the program, with logging and sampling now underway. Assays are slated to be released in six to eight weeks.

Following the completion of the Schooner drill program, the drill has now been moved to the Quinlan Veins prospect where a 2,400 metre program of nine drill holes has been planned. Classified as Phase 1, a second phase drill program is targeted to get underway following the analysis of Phase 1 results. Drilling here is focused on a secondary fault that contains visible gold, with the structure similar to that of where New Found Gold’s Lotto and Keats discoveries were made.
