Self-professed misogynist Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were released from prison and placed under house arrest for 30 days.
After spending three months behind bars over sex-trafficking and rape allegations, the Bucharest Court of Appeal ruled in favour of releasing the Tate brothers from prison, following two unsuccessful appeal attempts. “They will be placed under house arrest while the investigation continues,” a spokesperson for the pair told TMZ. Shortly after, Tate published a Tweet with a smiling face emoji and a link to his website, where he promised to send prospective followers an email detailing his release from jail.
Email regarding my release will be sent in 24 hours.

God is great.
Videos circulating on social media show the controversial influencer telling reporters that “the judges today made the right decision,” and that he respects “what they’ve done for me and they will be vindicated in their decision, because I’m an innocent man and I can’t wait to prove it.” The siblings, along with Tate’s girlfriend Georgiana Manuela and another woman named Radu Alexandra Luana, have been detained since late December over allegations of forming a human trafficking ring.
The brothers were arrested after Tate posted a cringy comeback video in wake of a feud with environmental activist Greta Thunberg, which tipped off Romanian authorities of his presence in the country.
