Scorpio Gold Hits 21.26 g/t Gold Over 18.3 Metres In Nevada

Scorpio Gold (TSXV: SGN) this morning posted some rather impressive results from an ongoing drill program at its Kinross Manhattan Property in Nevada. Highlights from the drill program include 21.26 g/t gold being intersected over 18.3 metres.

Results released this morning consisted of five assays from the West Pit area of the property. To date, 23 holes have been drilled on the property for an aggregate of 5,180 metres under the current program. Drilling to date has been conducted at both the East and West pits of the property.

Highlights from this mornings data include:

  • MWRC21-006: 6.00 g/t gold over 30.5 metres
  • MWRC21-005: 2.92 g/t gold over 47.3 metres
  • MWRC21-007: 21.26 g/t gold over 18.3 metres

Mineralization was found along the Little Gray fault zone, with results to date indicating a 300 metre strike length with mineralization beginning at a depth of just 19 metres. The results also confirm historic drilling conducted on the property across three separate zones.

The company intends to drill a total of 33 holes under the current program, to a depth of 6,520 metres in aggregate.
