Yevgeny Prigozhin, the man behind Russia’s notorious Wagner paramilitary group, was among the passengers on a business jet that tragically crashed northwest of Moscow According to reports from Russia’s Tass news agency, referencing aviation authorities, the incident claimed the lives of all 10 individuals on board.

The aircraft, an Embraer Legacy 600 bearing the tail number RA-02795, crashed near Kuzhenkino, a village located in the northwestern Tver Region. This jet is believed to be owned by Wagner Group head Yevgeny Prigozhin, and was travelling from Moscow to St. Petersburg, alongside fellow Wagner member Dmitry Utkin.

According to eye-witness reports, two loud bangs were heard before the wing and stabilizer dislodged from the aircraft, sending the jet crashing nearby an abandoned farm.
