Temas Resources Corp. (CSE: TMAS) has appointed Michel Lebeuf to the newly created role of General Counsel, a move that underscores the company’s commitment to advancing its key projects in Quebec, including the La Blache and Lac Brule Iron-Titanium-Vanadium ventures.
Lebeuf brings extensive experience in corporate finance and securities law, particularly within the natural resources sector. Currently serving as the managing partner of Lebeuf Legal, he has held various senior roles for numerous publicly listed issuers on the Canadian Securities Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange. His expertise encompasses institutional and corporate financing, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and securities law.
“Michel brings to the role a wealth of experience having served in senior roles for many publicly listed issuers in addition to his long successful career in securities law, especially in the natural resources sector,” stated CEO Tim Fernback. “His local knowledge will be an invaluable resource for our leadership team, and we’re very excited to welcome Michel to Temas.”
Lebeuf’s academic background includes a degree in Political Sciences with a focus on international relations, as well as a Civil Law degree from the Université de Montréal. He is also a member of the Bar of Quebec (Barreau du Québec).
“I am honoured to join Temas and look forward to contributing to the company’s continued success as it advances its Québec assets,” said Lebeuf.
This follows after the recent appointment of David Caldwell as Chief Operating Officer, another strategic hire aimed at reinforcing the company’s executive team. Caldwell, a seasoned mining executive, brings over 35 years of experience and a strong background in managing iron, titanium, and vanadium projects. His addition to the team is expected to drive forward the La Blache titanium-vanadium-iron project, which recently saw a promising preliminary economic assessment.
Temas Resources is actively progressing its La Blache project in Quebec. The project has an after-tax net present value of $6.6 billion over a projected 14-year mine life, highlighting its substantial economic potential.
Temas Resources last traded at $0.24 on the CSE.
