Joe Maldonado-Passage, who’s better known as Joe Exotic of the Tiger King fame, is not very pleased about President Joe Biden’s cannabis pardons.
Over the weekend, he wrote about how Biden’s pardons will not help with the “overpopulation of federal prisons” or do anything “toward his promise for justice and prison reform,” among other things.

The problem with this is NOT ONE person was in jail so this done nothing to help with the over population of Federal Prisons, nor did it do anything toward his promise for Justice & Prison Reform…#EXOTIC2024 pic.twitter.com/eD3YK5LxKr
Maldonado-Passage also said that “nothing will ever change” until a politician “stands up and corrects what’s going on with kidnapping and false imprisonmenting [sic] people of all colors just so politicians with their hands in the cookie jar can keep getting rich.”
The former zoo owner, who tried to run for president in 2016, signed the note “Joe Exotic 2024,” hinting at another attempt at taking the matter into his own hands by running for office.
The note is one of many of Maldonado-Passage’s claims of innocence and pleas for freedom. He regularly sends notes reaching out to personalities for help, and once expected that former President Donald Trump would include him in his list of pre-departure pardons.
More recently, the one-time Netflix star appealed to controversial Republican senatorial candidate Herschel Walker, saying that “most people don’t give a shit if you paid for an abortion years ago or not,” as long as he can be “an honest senator.”
In the note, he alleged that Senator Raphael Warnock, Walker’s Democratic rival, did not want to get involved in his case until after the election because he was white, and said that Warnock did not want to lose black and LGBT votes. He then challenged Walker to help him instead, saying that his fans in Georgia, the state Walker is running in, “are dying to know” if Walker cares that Maldonado-Passage is “innocent and white.”

Just so you know, most people don't give a shit if you paid for an abortion years ago or not. In fact, not many of us care how many kids you have around the country either as long as you think you can be an honest senator and not fall into the bullshit… pic.twitter.com/utt80D9kPh
Maldonado-Passage is currently serving a 21-year sentence for attempting to hire two people to have his rival Carole Baskin killed, and for abusing animals at his private zoo.
