Vizsla Silver Hits 1,935 g/t Silver, 15.47 g/t Gold Over 1.46 Metres

Vizsla Silver (TSXV: VZLA) provided the latest results from drill testing its Panuco silver-gold project this morning. A total of fourteen holes saw their assays released, with the results focused around the Cristiano Vein of the Tajitos – Copala area.

Highlights from the results include:

  • CS-22-128: 299 g/t silver and 2.08 g/t gold over 2.50 metres
  • CS-22-182: 1,935 g/t silver amd 15.47 g/t gold over 1.46 metres
  • CS-22-185A: 302 g/t silver and 2.02 g/t gold over 1.00 metre
  • CS-22-196: 045 g/t silver and 2.33 g/t gold over 2.16 metres

The results point to the Cristiano Vein currently having a strike length of 500 metres, which is discovered at a vertical depth of 250 metres. True thickness of the vein is currently estimated at 1.88 metres, with the average grade believed to be approximately 841 g/t silver equivalent. Mineralization is believed to continue to the southeast, while to the Northwest it is said to intersect the Tajitos Vein.

“The Cristiano Vein, located to the adjacent southwest of Copala is now a priority target for resource expansion within the Tajitos-Copala resource area. Similar to other proximal veins within the Tajitos-Copala Vein Corridor, Cristiano is predominately silver and gold rich with only trace amounts of base metals,” commented CEO Michael Konnert.

Results from two drill holes from the Cristiano Vein remain pending.

Vizsla Silver last traded at $1.56 on the TSX Venture.
