QYOU Media (TSXV: QYOU) this morning announced it has met a significant milestone, with the firm airing its 100th episode of the hit series Bolly2Box on The Q India via Snapchat India. Produced by Nirvana Digital, the series has become one of the most watched series on the platform, generating over 350 million unique views.
In addition to these 350 million unique views, the program has also seen 26 million viewing minutes, and averages 150,000 unique daily views. Launched in September 2019, Bolly2Box is a combination of Bollywood news and gossip, powered by Nirvana Digital and The Q India. The significant growth in viewership has resulted in significant month over month ad revenue growth, of which The Q India receives a share of.
The growth in viewership coincides with significant growth for Snapchat India, whom recently reported that user growth had amounted to 150% over the last year. Its currently estimated that there are at least 20 million users of Snapchat in the country, with the market being a key focus of growth.
