Relay Medical (CSE: RELA) this morning placed on emphasis on strengthening its management team as well as its board of directors and advisory board. The company this morning made a number of appointments as it works to execute on its strategy.
First up on the list is the appointment of Ian Fine as VP of R&D of Relay Medical, as well as Chief Technology Officer of Fionet Rapid Response Group, the firms joint venture with Fion. Fine has worked in the medtech industry for over a decade, having most recently been employed by Fio where he led strategy for its mobile diagnostic and cloud information services. Prior to Fio, he lead the core technology division at Cedara Software for four years.
Next on the list of appointments is that of W. Clark Kent, whom currently serves as President of Relay Medical. Kent has now joined the firms board of directors after having been with the company for over three years, while also serving as the CEO of Glow Lifetech. Kent will be taking the place of Gerard Edwards, whom will step down from the board.

Finally, Warren Smulowitz has been named to the firms strategic advisory board. Smulowitz will provide advise on corporate finance and other business development matters for the company. He currently leads a wealth management and investment banking practice at BMO.
