Fission Uranium Corp (TSX: FCU) this morning released the first drill results from its 2021 drill program at the Patterson Lake South Property. A total of twenty holes were drilled within the 7,147.8 metre program, with all holes reportedly hitting wide mineralization in multiple stacked intervals.
Drilling during the program occurred at the R780E zone of the high-grade Triple R deposit at Patterson Lake, which is a 31,039 hectare project within the Athabasca region of Saskatchewan. Thirteen of the twenty holes conducted reportedly intercepted intervals with >10,000 cps radioactivity.

- PLS21-597: 92.0 metres of total composite mineralization over a 214 metre interval, including 4.8 metres of mineralization >10,000 cps
- PLS21-605: 110.0 metres of total composite mineralization over a 272.5 metre interval, including 4.1 metres of mineralization >10,000 cps
- PLS21-595: 46.0 metres of total composite mineralization over a 73 metre interval, including 4.7 metres of mineralization >10,000 cps
The program itself was focused on converting inferred sections of the Triple R deposits zone to that of indicated, with the program focused on increasing drill density to do so. The company is currently working towards a feasibility study on the property.
