Xander Resources (TSXV: XND) has discovered the potential for lithium on its property. The company this morning reported that lithium geology has been discovered on its Senneville Group of Claims property in Val-d’Or, Quebec.
The lithium geology is reportedly located on the western side of the property, within the fringe of the LaCorne Bathoith. Mineralization is reprotedly within close proximity to the North American Lithium Deposit, which contains proven and probable reserves of 17.06 Mt of 0.94% Li20, in addition measured and indicated resources of 33.24 Mt of 1.19% Li20.
The region of the property reportedly has road access, infrastructure, and outcrop exposures. Commenting on the discovery, CEO James Hirst stated, “Xander has identified another excellent exploration potential with Lithium possibility on the Senneville Claim Group in the bullseye of Lithium discoveries and development in Canada. With the need for secure sources of hard rock Lithium in the battery space, we are enthusiastic to be in a position to explore the Lithium prospect.”

The discovery is located within the firms 24,000 acre land package in the Val-d’Or region, with the property being located 30 kilometres north of the city of Val-d’Or.
