Freeman Gold Corp (CSE: FMAN) this morning released the results of its 2020 exploration program on its flagship Lemhi Gold project, which is located in Idaho. The surface exploration campaign reportedly results in the identification of 11 high quality targets on the property that are proximal to the Lemhi resource, none of which have been drill tested to date.
The exploration program reportedly resulted in a total of 633 soil samples, 145 rock grab and channel samples, 565 kilometres of ground magnetics over the project, and 1.4 square kilometres of 3D IP data over the known mineralized zone. Further to this, the company also compiled historical data on the property that was incorporated into the database for the project.
Breaking down the results of the program,. the company saw a total of 54 samples return values higher than 1 g/t gold, while 20 returned values higher than 5 g/t gold, with the highlight value being 450 g/t gold. Values of silver in excess of 10 g/t were also found in 27 samples, with the highest value being 219 g/t. Five new targets were identified by the program, which are to be prospected, mapped, soil sampled, and possibly drilled as a result.

Ground magnetics meanwhile identified a structure that is 1.7 kilometres along strike and northeast of known mineralization on the property that contains similar structural aspects as the known mineralization on the property. Furthermore, a feature 7 kilometres in length has been identified which follows extensions of known mineralization on the property, while an additional 1.2 kilometre body was also identified.

Field crews have reportedly been mobilized to site to conduct further exploration, including ionic leach soil sample surveys over certain priority targets.
