Gatekeeper Systems (TSXV: GSI) continues to execute upon its business strategy. The firm this morning announced a potentially major development, in that it has entered into a master services agreement with National Express, LLC.
The master services agreement will see the company enter into what is effectively a perpetual contractual framework. Under this framework, services included video, data, software and installation is to be provided to the firm on an ongoing basis.
A subsidiary of the UK-based National Express Group PLC, the firm operates over 20,000 school buses on a daily basis, across a total of 550 school districts within a total of three Canadian provinces and 33 US states. Collectively, the firm transports 1.3 million students each day, in addition to providing service to 9.0 million corporate and university passengers and 22 million express transit passengers each year.

Financial details of the arrangement were not provided.
The development follows the news last month that the company had signed an agreement to install its tech within an additional 170 buses in the province of Alberta, across two separate school districts.
Gatekeeper Systems last traded at $0.34 on the TSX Venture.
