What Happened To Trey’s Trades YouTube Content?

Tremayne L. Collins, Trey’s Trades, the active-duty army officer who was once the YouTuber who rose to popularity from creating content almost completely about AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AMC) from the time it became a meme stock in 2021, is seemingly now hiding his YouTube content.

Collins, who was more hype than anything, established himself as one of the stock’s poster boys, driving enough interest for the stock that mainstream outfits like Forbes and CNBC gave him air time.

His YouTube following grew to almost 400,000 subscribers, with thousands of views per video. Fans listened to what he said, and at some point, he was hailed the face of the retail investor movement, the leader of the AMC short squeeze cult.

But he has, since around October last year, gone silent. And recently, people started noticing that not only has he lost about 20,000 subscribers on his YouTube Channel, but almost all his videos are also now missing.

All that’s left in the channel are playlists of livestreams, but videos, including the most recent one which was his “last AMC update,” are now seemingly marked as unlisted, if not deleted. And fans, some of which already feel they’ve been left to hold the bag, are now left with no mustachioed face to be angry at.

Collins received a lot of hate for his “last AMC update video.” And some followers are saying it’s likely that the toxicity has forced him to semi-leave the platform, taking his content with him — especially those that might be used against him, considering that the memestock is down over 68% year on year.

The Forbes feature earlier mentioned as well as this video on the “last AMC update” blowback both link to Trey’s Trades videos, and the links show that the videos are still up but have been unlisted.

Collins’ channel, which very quickly rose to popularity and has earned him a handsome income, is one of the recent casualties of the volatile path of the meme stock.

AMC last traded at $5.96 on the NYSE.
