Kid Rock is done with Bud Light. He made this clear in a video posted on Twitter on Monday. The video shows the singer shooting nearby cases of Bud Light with a submachine gun.
“Grandpa’s feeling a little frisky today,” he opened the video. “Let me be as clear and concise as possible…” and proceeds to shoot before ending with “F*ck, Bud Light. F*ck Anheuser-Busch.”
The spectacle is part of what’s being called a boycott of Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE: BUD) brands Bud Light and Budweiser after trans rights activist and influencer Dylan Mulvaney joined their long list of influencers.

Mulvaney, primarily known on Tiktok where she has 10 million followers, promoted Bud Light’s March Madness promo on her Instagram on Sunday. The influencer shared in the video that she recently celebrated her first year into transitioning and Bud Light gifted her with special beer cans commemorating the occasion.
“This month I celebrated my 365 days of womanhood and Bud Light sent me possibly the best gift ever — a can with my face on it,” Mulvaney said.
“Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points,” a spokesperson for the company told Fox News.
“From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”
The video’s gotten many conservatives doing a spit take, and claiming the beer brand was running some sort of “gender propaganda.” Far-right grandpas like Kid Rock have started swearing off Bud all over social media.
Too bad most of their other options are pro-LGBTQ+, too.
