Kid Rock’s hate for Bud Light may not go as deep as he’s making his fans think. Despite being one of the first and biggest names to propel the Bud Light boycott, he’s apparently still selling the beers at his bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse has been selling Bud Light, according to multiple posters on Twitter and a source cited by Newsweek. Kid Rock gained attention earlier when he filmed himself shooting crates of Bud Light with an assault rifle after the brand sent a personalized beer can to a transgender influencer.
According to Newsweek’s source, a waitress at the bar told them that they did stop selling Bud Light but only for a week after Kid Rock posted his video, and then they started selling it again after.

“No one talked about it, and I didn’t hear anyone giving the Bud Light drinkers any grief at all. Actually, no one really seemed to care about it,” the source said.
Earlier in June, Twitter user @GeorgeDShearer called out the Trump-supporting singer for keeping the beer on his bar’s menu and even posted a photo of it still appearing to be served at the bar.
Other more recent social media posts further support the claim that Bud Light is being sold at Kid Rock’s bar. Twitter users have shared pictures and testimonies from their visits, stating that they witnessed people drinking Bud Light at the establishment, completely contradicting Kid Rock’s previous assertion that he would not sell Bud Light in his bar.
As of this writing, there’s been no word (or new video) yet from Kid Rock on the matter. But the boycott he helped push to the mainstream has led to the departure of the marketing executives behind the campaign with the transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, as well as the closure of two glass bottling plants, leading to 600 employees losing their jobs.
