Shortly after former New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers made a comment that connected late-night talk show host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel to the Epstein list, tweets are going around showing what appears to be a mention of Kimmel in the recently unsealed documents.
The document was part of the proceedings involving alleged victim Virginia Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend and collaborator. It was released following a court order in December, and it contains 150 names that identified people who were either associated with the defendants or mentioned in the court proceedings. A search through the initial 953-page document will return no mention of Kimmel, nor have the later released documents contained any mention.
According to a report from Forbes, the incident originated from the X account @akafacehots, which reached 200,000 views in an hour. People soon shared it with the hashtag #AaronRodgersWasRight.

On Tuesday, Rodgers remarked during an appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show” that Kimmel was one of the people who didn’t want the list to be revealed. “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hoping that doesn’t come out,” he said.
McAfee has since apologized for the incident, but Rodgers still has yet to comment, at least as of this writing. ESPN meanwhile was forced to apologize following the comments.
