Filo Mining (TSX: FIL) continues to see results from a deep drilling campaign being conducted at its flagship Filo del Sol Project in Argentina. The firm late last night posted the results of three drill holes, which were intended to expand the size of the deposit to the west.
Highlights from the results include:
- FSDH097: 0.52% copper, 0.25 g/t gold, 22.4 g/t silver, or 0.89% copper equivalent over 1,077 metres from 368 metres depth
- FSDH098: 0.31% copper, 0.13 g/t gold, 2.1 g/t silver, or 0.42% copper equivalent over 953.8 metres from 410 metres depth
- FSDH100: 0.38% copper, 0.35 g/t gold, 5.8 g/t silver, or 0.68% copper equivalent over 631.3 metres from 256 metres depth
The results are said to have expanded the deposit to the west along a 1.6 kilometre track, expanding it by 200 to 500 metres along that distance. Meanwhile the results from hole 100 are said to have expanded over 500 metres in depth beyond the current resource pit shell.
Drilling remains ongoing at the project, with nine drill rigs currently operating. Assays from seven holes remain outstanding currently.
