Hercules Metals Assays 0.61% Copper Over 385.9 Metres In First Hole From 2025 Program

Hercules Metals (TSXV: BIG) has released assay results for the first hole conducting under their 2025 drilling campaign at their flagship Hercules Property. The hole was drilled at their Leviathan porphyry copper discovery, where Hercules continues to work to identify further mineralization.

Highlights from the results include:

  • HER-25-02: 15.5 metres of 1.28% copper, 22.8 g/t silver and 36 ppm molybdenum from a depth of 316.75 metres
    • And 385.9 metres of 0.61% copper, 3.0 g/t silver and 77 ppm molybdenum from a depth of 434.34 metres
    • Including 126.5 metres of 1.10% copper, 7.0 g/t silver and 45 ppm molybdenum
    • Including 80.8 metres of 1.49% copper, 8.9 g/t silver and 41 ppm molybdenum

HER-25-02 was a 220 metre step out to the northeast along strike. Mineralization first encountered consisted of strong bornite-chalcocite mineralization in the hanging wall of a late intermineral porphyry. The hole then again encountered strong bornite-chalcocite mineralization at a lower depth after exiting the porphyry, encountering an early intermineral porphyry.

“The results from the first hole of Hercules’ 2025 drill program show not only strong grades unique to the Leviathan porphyry, but also provide evidence that the secondary hypogene enrichment thickens at the centre of the system. [..] As we continue vectoring in on the high-grade center, it appears we’re only just beginning to comprehend the scale of this newly-discovered porphyry system,” commented Chris Paul, CEO of Hercules Metals.

Definition drilling is said to continue on 200 metre spaced fences at Leviathan, while two holes are currently focused on drill testing the Donut anomaly, which is a broad circular bullseye target identified by an MT survey conducted in August. That anomaly appears several kilometres south from the current limit of drilling, with the target over 3.0 kilometres in diameter.

13,000 metres have been drilled year to date across 13 completed holes, 5 in progress holes, 3 RC pre-collar holes and one abandoned hole.

Hercules Metals last traded at $0.75 on the TSX Venture.
