Production has officially begun for AmmPower Corp (CSE: AMMP). The firm has officially begun producing ammonia at its new manufacturing and development facility located within southeast Michigan, marking a major milestone for the company.
The company indicated that it has produced the first laboratory quantities of ammonia at the facility, the first such technical achievement of the new operation. The milestone is said to signal “the launch of AmmPower’s ammonia catalyst and process development programs that are to follow.”
The process of development has now officially begun, with the company now looking to validate new catalyst technology and production processes for the synthesizing of ammonia. Specifically, the company is focused on the processing of cracking ammonia to release hydrogen, which will allow hydrogen to be transported much more easily in the form of ammonia before being released at its point of use.
