Canada Nickel Company (TSXV: CNC) this morning announced preliminary drill results from its drill program at its MacDiarmid Nickel Property in Ontario. Initial results have indicated that the company has intersected significant intersections of mineralized dunite, similar to the firms Crawford property.
The MacDiarmid property is located 23 kilometres southwest of the firms flagship Crawford Nickel property, where the company found initial success with finding significant quantities of nickel. After conducting three drill holes in an initial drill program at this property, much of the same style of mineralization has been found, pointing to the potential for another discovery.
Drilling at the property is focused on a geophysical target measuring 1.8 kilometres long by 400 metres wide, within a larger intrusion. Mineralization has been defined across a strike of 400 metres to a depth of 360 metres, with widths currently ranging between 150 to 200 metres.
