Canuc Resources Identifies Three Large Magnetic Anomalies Via Drone Survey At San Javier

Canuc Resources (TSXV: CDA) has received the final report from a drone supported magnetic survey that was conducted at its flagship San Javier silver-gold project in Sonora State, Mexico. The survey notably identified three large magnetic features, with detailed processing suggesting stronger features within the larger target area, indicating the potential for high grade mineralization.

The company conducted the survey as a means of searching for highly magnetic anomalies that are related to the veined stockworks and strong magnetite matrixed breccias that the company has found on the property from recent rock sampling and mapping. Recent samples have measured as high as 2,859 g/t silver and 14.4 g/t gold, which the company states is suggestive of iron-oxide-copper-gold, or IOCG, mineralization.

The three magnetic anomalies measure 1,000 by 600 metres, 800 by 600 metres, and 600 by 600 metres, respectively, indicating that there may be multiple areas of strong mineralization on the property. Following these results, the company has indicated it will now carry out detailed ground magnetic surveys on the targets identified, while drilling is set to occur in the next few weeks on the property.

Canuc Resources last traded at $0.23 on the TSX Venture.
