Dolly Varden Silver (TSXV: DV) has seen further success drill testing the Wolf Vein, indicating this morning it intercepted high grade silver mineralization following a 40 metre step out through directional drilling.
Highlights from the results include:
- DV24-404: 1,091 g/t silver, 1.35% lead, 1.40% zinc over 9.38 metres from a depth of 766.82 metres
- Including 2,505 g/t silver, 3.42% lead and 2.88% zinc over 1.63 metres
Hole DV24-404 is said to be the “mother hole” for directional drilling, with three additional daughter holes directed off of this hole at depth near the base of the sedimentary cap. Assay results for those three holes, which intersected the Wolf Vein at 30 metre minimum intervals, have not yet been released.
“We are encouraged with an increase in silver plus base metal grades over potential bulk underground mining widths at the Wolf Vein and eagerly anticipate more assays soon from this area. We are impressed with the consistency of mineralization, including strong native silver, within the intersection from drill hole DV24-404. Additional drilling to the southwest is being prioritized during the remainder of the 2024 drill season,” commented CEO Shawn Khunkhun.
