Gatekeeper Systems (TSXV: GSI) has managed to secure another contract south of the border. The latest arrangement comes from within the State of Tennessee, where the company has signed a new deal with a local school district.
The transaction, which is with an unnamed school district in the state, will see the district upgrade its entire fleet of school buses with tech from Gatekeeper. A total of 390 buses are to be retrofitted under the deal, which will see the installation of mobile wifi, interior and exterior video, and mobile data collectors.
The customer is said to be a returning customer, with Gatekeeper tech having previously been installed on a portion of the bus fleet. Now, the company is moving to fully deploy the tech across its entire fleet after having experienced the firms offerings.

In total, the arrangement has a value of $1.2 million, which will consist of upgrading the remainder of the districts buses.

Our video, data, and new Mobile Wi-Fi solutions are very effective in these endeavors,” said CEO Doug Dyment.
The latest contract follows a $2.35 million contract entered into last month with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority, one of the firms largest customers.
Gatekeeper Systems last traded at $0.31 on the TSX Venture.
