Karora Resources Inc. (TSX: KRR) announced this morning the follow-up drill results at the 50C nickel trough discovery at Beta Hunt. The mining firm relayed that these assays defined an extension of the zone to over 80 metres in width.
“We have now extended the width of nickel mineralization at the 50C discovery to over 80 metres along a strike length of 150 metres, remaining open along 2.6 kilometres of [a] potential strike to the southeast,” said Karora Resources CEO Paul Huet.
The assay results returned from holes G50-22-006NE and G55-22-001NE are 4.0% nickel over 3.5 metres and 5.3% nickel over 2.2 metres, respectively. Drilling of 18 holes covering 45 metres south and 100 metres north along strike has been completed and the firm awaits the assays from the rest of the 16 holes.

The 50C nickel trough has been discovered earlier this year located at the south of the Gamma Island fault. The discovery is highlighted by a previously reported intersect of 11.6% nickel over 4.6 metres.
The gold producer expects to receive all assays from the Gamma fault before 2021 ends in time to produce a revised nickel mineralization model by Q1 2022.
Karora Resources last traded at $3.49 on the TSX.
