Kodiak Copper (TSXV: KDK) is reporting long intervals of copper mineralization within the latest drilling conducted at its MPD copper-gold porphyry project in British Columbia.
The company this morning released assays for the first two holes drilled at the Man Zone, with the results said to have significantly extended copper-gold mineralization.

- MPD-23-001: 0.14% copper, 0.08 g/t gold and 0.41 g/t silver over 324 metres, including 0.25% copper, 0.23 g/t gold and 0.70 g/t silver over 75 metres
- MPD-23-002: 0.17% copper, 0.17 g/t gold and 0.86 g/t silver over 337 metres, including 0.34% copper, 0.28 g/t gold, and 1.71 g/t silver over 116 metres
Zones of mineralization within MPD-23-001 are said to have began at bedrock at a depth of 30 metres, while the last zone was intersected to a depth of 995 metres. Similarly, MPD-23-002 saw mineralized zones begin at bedrock at a depth of 29 metres, with the last zone ending at a depth of 924 metres. Mineralization meanwhile is said to correspond well to IP resistivity and chargeability anomalies that extend to significant depths.
Kodiak Copper last traded at $0.59 on the TSX Venture.
