Nevada King Gold (TSXV: NKG) has seen success in drill testing a new discovery area at its Atlanta Gold Mine Project, which is found in Nevada. The company this morning reported multiple intercepts of gold at the Wild West Zone, found in an area that was previously believed to be unmineralized on the western side of the West Atlanta Fault #2.
Highlights from the results include:
- AT24WS-69: 1.48 g/t gold, 5.5 g/t silver over 73.2 metres from 323.2 metres depth
- AT24WS-80: 2.66 g/t gold, 6.3 g/t silver over 35.1 metres from 373.4 metres depth
- AT24WS-83: 4.67 g/t gold, 25.3 g/t silver over 42.7 metres from 387.1 metres depth
The Wild West Zone, or WWZ, is found beyond the current boundaries of the current resource zone for Atlanta, with the target area currently believed to be up to 200 metres wide in the east-west direction while remaining open to the west, and at minimum 500 metres wide north-south, while remaining open to the south. The discovery was made following drill testing of a CSAMT anomaly.
