New Found Gold (TSXV: NFG) this morning released a further twenty nine drill holes from its Keats Zone. Drilling at Keats is part of the firms ongoing 200,000 metre diamond drill program within the larger Queensway Project in Newfoundland.
A number of holes from the program were highlighted by the company when releasing results, however no “stand-out” result was provided. Highlights include:
- NFGC-21-250: 32.65 g/t gold over 7.05 metres
- NFGC–21-251: 137.49 g/t gold over 2.0 metres
- NFGC-21-184: 36.52 g/t gold over 3.00 metres
- NFGC-21-170: 31.80 g/t gold over 4.85 metres
While no stand-out result was emphasized by the firm, results still were strong by any standard. The company also indicated that it intersected 104.59 g/t gold over 2.20 metres within hole NFGC-21-310, which is the most southerly drill interval to date.

The Keats Zone has also notably been extended to 200 metres vertically towards the surface, with mineralization open along strike to the northeast and southwest, as well as to surface.
Finally, a total of 44% of the 200,000 metre drill program is said to be now completed at Queensway, with roughly 20,000 metres of drilling waiting upon assay results.
