The first royalty name of this earnings cycle has reported its fourth quarter results and quite frankly, the results are a bit disappointing given the current gold environment.
Revenue is down on an annual basis, production is down, and cash flows are down. But hey, at least they hit revised guidance. They can’t all be winners I suppose, and this is just one example.
The royalty name here is of course Sandstorm Gold (TSX: SSL), whom at the time of their third quarter earnings release basically said this year wasn’t going to be as good as initially expected. And well, they held up that statement.
