Surge Battery Metals (TSXV: NILI) has officially extended the strike length of mineralization at its flagship Nevada North Lithium Project. Strike was extended to the northwest following further drill results.
The extension follows the results of two drill holes releases by the company this morning, the highlights of which include:
- NN2303: 21.3 metres of 3,064 ppm lithium from 78.5 metres depth
- NN2304: 29.8 metres of 3,841 ppm lithium from 21.3 metres depth, and 3.1 metres of 2,133 ppm lithium from 69.3 metres depth
Hole NN2304 is said to be a 300 metre step out from hole NN2302 (which intersected 3,985 ppm lithium over 34.29 metres) to the northwest. The hole is said to have a composite thickness of intersected clay horizons of 32.9 metres, with an overall average grade of 3,682 ppm lithium.
Hole NN2303 meanwhile is a further 1,000 metre step out to the northwest from hole NN2304, with the composite thickness of layers intersected being 22.8 metres averaging 2,940 ppm lithium. The hole meanwhile represents a 1,500 metre step out from 2022 drilling.

“Drill holes NN2302, 2303 and 2304 now confirm mineralization extends an additional 1.5 km from the most northerly hole of the 2022 drill program for an overall confirmed strike length in excess of 3km,” commented CEO Greg Reimer on the results.
