Tarachi Gold Corp (CSE: TRG) released further assays from underground drilling that was conducted at its Jabali concession within the historic La Dura mine in Sonora, Mexico. While results from just a single hole were released this morning, the highlight value is somewhat significant at 5.05 g/t gold over 20.75 metres.
The hole itself, JAB-20-06, managed to hit four separate zones of mineralization overall, with widths ranging from 4.50 metres to 20.75 metres. Mineralization was found from depths of 2.25 metres, 22.25 metres, 51.50 metres and 74.00 metres, with the highlight value being the strongest result. Gold zones are currently believed to trend north-south with a gentle south dip.
Two of the intervals hit by the drill on this hole point to new mineralization structures beneath what is referred to as the main zone at the historic mine. Current drilling is working to continue to define the Main Gold Zone on the property, with a focus on testing the down-dip and potential plunge orientation.

Tarachi’s Jabali concession is said to be located within the Mulatos gold belt, located 220 kilometres east of Hermosillo, Mexico. The claim itself covers the La Dura historic mine along with several other smaller scale mines, with geology on the property said to be similar to mineralization that can be found at the Mulatos mine.
