Xebec Adsorption (TSX: XBC) this morning issued a brief news release, indicating that it has entered into an arrangement to supply hydrogen to a fueling station in the Netherlands via its HyGear subsidiary. Details on the transaction however were rather short, with no financial aspects revealed by the company.
Xebec is set to supply the hydrogen via on-site generation as well as via delivery of 130,000 kilograms of hydrogen from a nearby production hub. The initial agreement is for a period of one and a half years, and is expected to consist of enough hydrogen to supply 33,000 fuel cell electric vehicles fills over the contract period.
The arrangement follows a similar agreement signed in February with Rjingas to supply a fueling station operated by Orangegas. Operator details were not provided in the latest such arrangement, nor were any dollar terms.
