Patriot Battery Metals (TSXV: PMET) reports of continued success under the current exploration program at the Corvette property in Quebec. The company in recent drilling intersected the widest mineralized pegmatite intersection to date at the CV5 target.
Results from a total of thirteen holes were released by the company late last night, while 140 holes remain to be assayed. Highlights from the results include:
- CV23-199: 0.93% Li2O over 172.4 metres, including 1.85% Li2O over 34.5 metres
- CV23-201: 1.10% Li2O over 13.9 metres
- CV23-205: 1.52% Li2O over 18.7 metres
- CV23-208: 1.63% Li2O over 28.8 metres, including 2.19% Li2O over 13.0 metres
- CV23-209: 1.20% Li2O over 46.3 metres, including 1.59% Li2O over 34.8 metres
The results, with the exception of CV23-199 which was an infill hole, come from the western extension of the CV5 pegmatite, outside of the mineral resource estimate released in June. The results are said to support the idea that the principal dyke splits into two dykes moving westerly, and remains well mineralized along each.
The company also disclosed that exploration is now on pause until early January as a result of winter conditions setting in. The resumption of drilling is slated to occur early in January, when ten drill rigs will resume drilling. Core processing however will continue into December.
